Gabriele Rosati's pictures strip it all down to the core.
Having studied photography at APAB Academy in Florence, the Italian photographer has particularly devoted himself to the use of a disposable camera, playing with contrasts and using flash, trying to capture the hidden body language and reveal what dwells within.
Raw yet somehow delicate and fragile, the images are a body-focused study depicting the purest essence of oneself. Through alteration of the developed photographs with tape and markers, Gabriele has put individual fragments of the body under scrutiny, exposing their singular vulnerability.
