Curiously serene and bathed in a gentle sunlight, Giulia Ricciotti's photographs are pure embodiments of dancing on a daydream in the Parisian streets.
Ever since she has been gifted a simple automatic camera by her mum when she was a child, the Italian photographer never goes far without one, capturing both pieces of her everyday little journeys as well as faraway travels. Currently, her main focus lies in fashion photography, each of her images revealing fragments of the hidden beauty of her models yet always teetering on the verge of mystery.
A mere glimpse of her pictures gets you carried away into the streets of Paris dipped in the subtle light of a summer afternoon. There is a sense of tranquillity, occasionally broken up by fleeting love affairs with the statuesque objects of desire, only waiting for the decisive moment to come to life.
